Mr. Lawrence Li (Board Member, Fintech Association of HK) and Dr. S.M. Yiu (Associate Professor of HKU) spoke on "What is Virtual Bank" at a joint FinTech talk co-organized by the Department of Computer Science, HKU and the HKU Graduates' Association on September 27, 2019.
Mr. Li discussed virtual bank from a practitioner's point of view coupled with financial inclusion and virtual bank future in Asia plus e-wallet; while Dr. Yiu focused on cyber security issues.
Over 100 audience including HKU students from the BASc(FinTech) and MSc(CS) Financial Computing programmes, HKUGA members and other HKU members attended the talk and mingled at the post-talk refreshments.
This was the first talk of a FinTech talk series to be co-organized by HKUCS & HKUGA. Stay tuned.
