Dr. Kenneth K.Y. Wong and Dr. Chuan Wu receive more than HK$4.6 million of funding from 2019/2020 Innovation Technology fund and industry sponsorship for their research projects.
Dr. Wong's project titled "Research and Development on Algorithms for Evaluating Mental Wellness Using Heart Rate Variability Measured by Wearable Devices" under the University-Industry Collaboration Programme receives a funding of HK$1.3M from Innovation Technology Commission and Minfio Limited.
Dr. Wu's project titled "A Cloud-backed Smart Walker for the Elderly" receive a funding of more than HK$3.3M in which HK$2.4M is from the Innovation and Technology Support Programme (Platform Research Projects) and HK$0.9M from industry sponsorship.
