Graduate Courses Offered in 2025-26
Graduation requirement for attending the seminar
- Four-year PhD students must attend at least 10 seminars per academic year throughout their studies.
- Three-year PhD and MPhil students must attend at least 5 seminars per academic year throughout their studies.
Seminar requirements by registration date:
- Students registered in September
- The full seminar requirement applies in every academic year.
- Students registered from October to January
- The first and last partial academic years together count as one full academic year.
- Students must complete the full yearly requirement in the first partial academic year; the last partial academic year has no requirement.
- Any full academic years in between: the full yearly requirement applies.
- Students registered from February to April
- The first and last partial academic years together count as one full academic year.
- In the first partial academic year, students must complete at least half of the yearly requirement:
- 4-year PhD: at least 5 seminars
- 3-year PhD and MPhil: at least 3 seminars
- In the last partial academic year, students must complete the remaining seminars from the first partial academic years to reach the full yearly requirement.
- Any full academic years in between: the full yearly requirement applies.
- Students registered from May onwards
- In the first partial academic year, there is no seminar requirement.
- The full yearly requirement applies from the following September onward.
- In the last partial academic year, students must complete a full yearly requirement or the remaining seminars from the first partial academic years to reach the full yearly requirement.
- Any full academic years in between: the full yearly requirement applies.
