Professor Yi MA has assumed Headship of the Department of Computer Science with effect from June 1, 2023. Professor Ma is also the Director of the HKU Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science (IDS) and Chair Professor of both IDS and the Department of Computer Science.
The Department would also like to extend a vote of thanks to Professor TW LAM for his exceptional leadership and valuable contributions to the Department in the past 5+ years as Head of Department.
