I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from
The University of Hong Kong in 1997. After graduation,
I had been a visiting assistant professor/guest lecturer for
three years in The University of Hong Kong, and a lecturer in
Polytechnic University for three years. In 2005, I moved to Turkey
and worked as an Assistant Professor in Bilkent University in Ankara,
the capital city. In 2009-2011, I lived in Izmir,
the third largest city in Turkey, and worked in Department of
Computer Engineering in Izmir University.
I am now an Assistant Professor in Istanbul University.
I have published a few papers in these years.
My principle research areas cover some fundamental issues in the
area of distributed algorithms/computing.
