Professor Christopher Chao, Dean of Engineering of HKU and Mr. Hugh Chow, Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) represented their institutions to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on September 14, 2020 at HKU to jointly nurture FinTech talents of the future.
Up to 30 students enrolled in the MSc in FinTech and Data Analytics programme at HKU will be provided with the opportunity to join a Work-Study Scheme, the Technology Oriented Practitioner (TOP) programme, co-developed by the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Engineering and ASTRI.
