 BACKGROUND
A series of online meetings were organized internationally to collect personal experiences from persons with disabilities (PwDs) about the impacts of COVID-19 on their daily lives. This was to ensure that the voices of PwDs are being heard, to ascertain the needs for support, and to campaign local leaders for an inclusive approach in the battle against the virus. The relevant meeting was conducted in Hong Kong on 24 April 2020. A report was compiled in May 2020. The findings were further presented in the online sharing session between Japan and Hong Kong on 11 September 2020.
