Three new projects of our Department receive awards of funding from the 2018 Innovation and Technology Fund of the Innovation and Technology Commission, HKSAR Government. The two projects titled "Close-Proximity Human-Robot Collaboration for Intelligent Manufacturing" and "Artificial Intelligent Orthodontic System" led by Professor Wenping Wang receive a funding of HK$7M and HK$8.76M respectively. Another project on "Advanced 3GS-based bioinformatics algorithms and a complete bioinformatics solution for clinical genetics" with Professor Tak-Wah Lam as the Principal Investigator also receives a funding award of HK$7.38M.
