Professor Tak-Wah Lam and Dr. Siu-Ming Yiu are two of the twelve HKU researchers that appeared on the 2017 list of Highly Cited Researchers in the world by Clarivate Analytics. Highly Cited Researchers from Clarivate Analytics is an annual list recognizing leading researchers in the sciences and social sciences from around the world.
On the list of 2017, there are 152 highly-cited researchers in the field of Computer Science, and Professor Lam and Dr. Yiu are the two among the four computer science researchers from Hong Kong who received this honour.
