Plagiarism
Plagiarism is a serious offence in conduct. Both copying and being the source are regarded as plagiarism. The departmental penalty to plagiarism cases is as follows:

First attempt:
At least 50% of all coursework for the course would be deducted.

Second attempt:
The student would fail the whole course, or be required to repeat the year, or be recommended for discontinuation, or be referred by the departmental disciplinary committee to the Senate Disciplinary Committee for consideration.
