Dr. Vincent Lau holds a bachelors degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degrees in department of computer science at The University of Hong Kong. He has particular expertise in user interface, embedded and mobile system. In early 90s, he worked with Microsoft Scientist in Seattle for developing the system core of Chinese Windows. Then he invented innovative Chinese input system and developed a two person home based company into a HK listed company in 7 years. In 1999, he was awarded the Hong Kong TopTen Outstanding Digi Youth Person. One of his product was award with the first prize in Hong Kong Industry Award 2000. He keeps programming and realizes ideas, also inventing products and solutions with various technologies, and was awarded with honorary Taiwan Inventor doctor. He also helps the young, such as secondary school students for international technology competition, University students for Apple scholarship and Microsoft Imagine Cup, young entrepreneurs for HK Science Park Incubation Program.
