Professor Francis Chin Receives HKU Outstanding Researcher Award 2010-11

Professor Francis Chin, Chair Professor of Computer Science and Taikoo Professor of Engineering, received the Outstanding Researcher Award from the Vice‑Chancellor of HKU at the Award Presentation Ceremony for Excellence in Teaching and Research on February 9, 2012.

This award is granted by the University Research Committee to academic staff in recognition of their extremely outstanding accomplishments in research. The assessment and selection of awardees are based on documented evidence of international recognition of research accomplishments, the quality and quantity of research publications, the ability to attract research grants, and high‑impact applied research work.

these years.
