9 HKUCS students introduced their computer games developed for XBOX 360 to the media at a kick-off ceremony organized by Microsoft HK on June 24, 2009. These games will be presented at the "Local Creation Game Zone" 「本地原創遊戲區」in the coming Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong (ACGHK) 香港動漫電玩節 to be held from July 31 - August 4, 2009 at the HK Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Creators of the below 4 computer games are all BEng(CS) students taking the “Computer Game Design and Programming” course instructed by Dr. Vincent Lau and assisted by Mr. Chim Tat Wing (CS PhD candidate) in the academic year
2008-9.
- "H1N1 Killer" by Hung Ka Lai, Cheung Wing Yan, Hui Ying Kit & Yeung Cho Yi
- "Medicine Express" by Cheung Lok Kan, Ho Chun Wing Desmond & Sit Cheong Tik
- "Disinfector Vs Virus” by Kwok Ka Ho, Ip Chun Yin, Chiang Sze Cheuk & Wat Chun Pang Gilbert
- "Nano Blood War" by Yip Ling
