HKU team won a Bronze Medal in ACM/ICPC Invitational Competition
at National University of Defence Technology

HKU Team - "akk": LAM Hin Chun (left), LUI Ka Cheong (middle), CHOI Sin Man (right)The HKU team "akk" won a Bronze Medal in the 2nd Annual ACM/ICPC (Association for Computing Machinery / International Collegiate Programming Contest) Invitational Competition at National University of Defence Technology, ChangSha, Hunan on 27 April, 2008. The "akk" team solved 3 problems out of 9 within five hours, and was ranked 4 among 63 teams from southern region of China. Team "akk" comprised of CHOI Sin Man (ActSci3), LAM Hin Chun (CE4), and LUI Ka Cheong (EconFin3).

Honorable mention went to another HKU team - "far" comprising HUI Yan Ting (CE1), NG Kwong Hei (ActSci2) and YIP Lik Yau (ActSci1).
