Second Major for BEng(CS)
Candidates can also opt for and graduate with second major in an area outside this degree curriculum, by selecting the appropriate courses to satisfy one of the second major programmes offered. Courses taken to fulfil the second major requirements may also be considered as equivalent courses that satisfy the complementary studies and elective requirements of the BEng(CS) programme.
A second major requires the completion of 12 courses, which are equivalent to approximate two semesters of study.

Students are allowed to submit their own course selection plans and are responsible for ensuring that the required pre-requisites and co-requisite of selected courses are fulfilled. Students who opt for a second major or minor are also responsible for ensuring that they have satisfied the requirements for awarding such second major or minor upon graduation.
