Prizes
The top 2 Stage 1 finishers (Senior Level) from Hong Kong will win an all-expenses paid trip to Canada to take part in the Stage 2 contest, to be held in May 2009 at the University of Waterloo. This week-long event involves seminars, a contest (divided into two half-day components) as well as other extra-curricular activities. Specifically, the "all-expenses paid trip" covers the following:- All traveling expenses between Hong Kong and the Stage 2 contest site (i.e., University of Waterloo).
- Accommodation expenses throughout the period of the contest
- Meal expenses throughout the period of the contest
Stage 2 of the CCC 2009 will be held at the University of Waterloo from Monday May 4, 2009 until Friday May 8, 2009
It is the sole responsibility of the prize winner in obtaining all required traveling documents for this trip (including the charges arising from the application). Failing to do so waives the prize winner's right to the prize.
All participants who attended the contest will receive a Certificate of Participation. The top scorers will be awarded one of the following.
- Certificate of Distinction
- Certificate of Merit
- Honorable Mention
The classification criteria are: (Full mark is 75)
- >= 60 - Certificate of Distinction
- >= 55 - Certificate of Merit
- >= 45 - Honorable Mention
- All remaining participants - Certificate of Participation
