Canadian Computing Competition Hong Kong Contest
Notes for the Contestants

Please bring with you the following to the venue on the day of the contest.

• HKID card
• Student card

The contest will start at 4:30 pm on Wednesdady, 25 February 2009 and finish at 7:30 pm.

• Please try to arrive by 4:15 pm for registration.
• There will be a briefing at 4:25 pm.
• Late comers are allowed, but no later than 5:30 pm, and the contest will finish at 7:30 pm.
• You are not supposed to leave the contest venue before 5:30 pm.

Reporters will be allowed to come into the venue during the first 5 minutes. We will try to minimize the disturbance.

You will be given a choice between a junior set of problems and a senior set of problems. You will select either one, but not a mixture of the two. Only those who attempt the senior set will be eligible for the grand prize (i.e., the all-expenses paid trip to Canada).

Detailed instructions on how to log-in, save and submit your solutions, etc. will be announced on site.

Please look at the page on the available programming languages you could use to solve the problems, and familiarize yourself with the language(s) of your choice before the contest. A look at the past problems should help too.
